Six Effective Affiliate Marketing Tips for Anyone Affiliate that Needs Big Bulk of Cash
Done properly affiliate article marketing can be a very productive way to grow your online affiliate marketing profits. However, to reach maximum potential, it's essential that it be done correctly. To be effective at affiliate article marketing it's critical to understand keywords, article structure, flow, length, the give and the take.
  1. Keywords: These are the words the reader will use to search for your article. Ideally, you want useful keywords that don't have too much competition. As an example, the key words for this article are: effective affiliate article marketing. An entire course could be written on keyword selection. A good free keyword source to start with is Google AdWords.
  2. Article Structure: Don't feel bad if you're not a good writer. Most people are average at best at writing. Start by just telling the reader what you're going to talk about. In the next paragraph provide a relevant idea. Follow this with two or three more relevant ideas, each with their own paragraphs. In your final paragraph recap what you just wrote about. Using this approach will reduce the time spent staring at a blank white screen trying to figure out what to say.
  3. Article Flow: The basic idea is to link your paragraphs together. In other words, stay on topic. Avoid jumping to a tangent thought. Another aspect effective affiliate article marketing that will help the reader, is to keep you sentences relatively short. That said, it also helps to vary sentence length. Just be aware of long, run on thoughts. Readers like it pithy!
  4. Article Length: Remember were talking effective affiliate article marketing here, not writing a feature article for a magazine. In the affiliate article marketing arena, keep your article between 400-700 words. This article length will allow enough length to express your key concepts without getting too long-winded.
  5. The Give: Simply put, this is what you give the reader. You provide your honest thoughts, advice and suggestions on the topic without expecting pr asking for anything in return. In the world of online marketing you will want to avoid placing self-serving links in your article body. In the article body, focus on giving to your reader.
  6. The Take: In your author bio, this where you can offer a link for your reader to explore if he chooses to. Some like to have long author bios. I prefer a short author bio. I find it more to the point.
Effective article marketing is like any skill, the more you practice it the better you'll get. When you start out, don't stress about word choice, flow and structure. Give yourself a maximum of 45 minutes to write the article. Run it through spell check, submit it to the article directory of your choice and move on. I find that after about 90 minutes of writing (about two articles), l need a break. Two articles a day is about my limit. Consistent writing, day in and day out, is far more important over the long run than cranking out five articles in one day and none for the next week.
